Unknown04:42 0 comments

Hewlette-Packard's first android tablet was the Slate 7 which seemed as if the idea or concept wasn't perfectly executed .We have been utterly wrong in the accounts we made about this 21 Inch tablet or Slate whatever we call this new device, launched by HP. The predictions made, have prove wrong because this tablet is powerful, affordable & smart. £349 is what this device costs. What this device is featuring and what should have been there , everything has been discussed below.

Size & Design:

The Slate 21 is named just because of its size which it has got . Basically it is 21 inch android tablet more of a slate though. The size is quite enormous and its dimensions are 531 x 354 x 67mm and weighs not more than 4.85Kg. Thus, its  not easy to carry the device anywhere around although its portable but the large size it has got makes it more of a occasionally used computer. The elegance in the design has certainly been enriched because of the use of glossy plastic.

Display & Camera:

Crystal Clear a correct phrase to define the quality of display it has got. 1920*1080 pixels display is what this device is featuring. Full HD display makes the HP's intentions clear that their upcoming device would probably feature the same visual quality. HP True Vision web cam allows  video conferences in HD quality (720p) .

Hardware & Software:

Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 yet another time is the operating system of another device. NVIDIA has played its part in the processing department by the use of their processor in this device. Yes, this device features a Quad-Core 1.66GHz Tegra 4 Chipset along with the 1GB RAM. This marks the presence of this device in the market that certainly will surely register large sums of money.

Storage & Other:

The device has came up with 8 GB of internal memory and the SD card is also supported. Although storage capacity isn't up to the mark but nevertheless not disapproving. Three USB 2.0 ports are available that means you can attach  3 of your peripheral devices at the same time. Below the screen a pair of  DTS Sound speakers are found that have a nice bit of sound quality.
Although in the previous version Beats Audio speakers were featured.
