Sony has stepped into the competition , as Xperia Tab has been announced for U.S and European markets.It has a qualcom Quad Core processor.It is a very light weight tab which is 1.09 pounds (least weight for a Ten Inch tab).
It has a Micro SD slot so the memory can go up to 64 GB.The most interesting news for this tab is that it can resist in the 3 feet water for about 30 minutes or so, well I don't think so .The tab features 4.1 Jelly Bean software which can be upgraded to 4.2 too.Its processing capabilities are quite interesting too, it has 1.5 GHZ Quad Core Processor with a 2 GB RAM.Camera is not bad either with an 8MP front and 2.2MP back camera this means it can capture the great moments of life in HD quality.It is an eye catching device , firstly because of its water proof technology and secondly due to its crystal clear resolution (1920*1200pixels) though not an full HD screen.The tab will be available soon with a starting price of $499 (16GB) and $ 599 (32GB). With this launch Sony will step forward in the competition, though it wouldn't be an IPAD killer because by no means its similar to that!
